Toluene as a solvent to soak the system in for cleaning

Has anyone tried toluene as a solvent to soak the system in? Is it effective? Pretty toxic though probably.

Try Desolvit instead. If you don’t have a fabric sprayer, I suggest you get one. Dampen the lace with Desolvit and let sit for several hours. Then use the fabric sprayer filled with 99% alcohol to blow out the loosened glue residue.
