Seeing all these people, happy with their lover. As I sit over here thinking even if I did buy flowers I couldn't even give them to anyone. Who ever invented this day is a real dick. Burn in hell hall-mark

I don't buy into stupid "holidays" like this one. So, I don't give a f***.

But yeah, everyone wants a chick, but when you're with one, you then want to get away and be single again. It's a never ending process that always leaves you unsatisfied.

Here is the flip side. This day is a marketing bonanza, driven by guilt. To me it is a collossal pain in the ***.

And I am married and love my wife. I just resent having to prove it on this day (and mothers day, anniversary day etc.) You get the picture.

Nick, you're right. Even if you had some super-model that adored you with some spell-binding personality, you'd still get bored after a while. That's human nature....human nature wants to mix as many genes up and to produce as many offspring as possible to make the race succeed. Marriage, monogamy, and even Valentine's day is a cultural thing to create stabilization..it helps with the child-rearing..good child-rearing = good kids = good workers, etc..and we need those kids to keep working when we retire!

No matter how hot a chick is, you can bet there is some lucky SOB out there who is sick of f*cking her. :hairy:

Im single right now as well, but everytime I think on the same lines are this I remember all the bad relationships, the rollercoaster ups an downs and the painfull breakups and I dont really desire to be with somebody any longer.

Anyhow it works for me.
