I was kind of wondering about trying finasteride but I need a prescription for the generic proscar that is like 10 dollars at wal mart before I even consider it. Im a pretty big cheap skate and dont like wasting money which it seems lots of people on this forum have no problem doing. My family has little history of male pattern baldness and I am a Norwood 1 still but I think I am getting a mature hairline which I dont want so finasteride is the only real option. Losing your teenage hairline makes you look older and isnt that the whole point of doing something about male pattern baldness in the first place? Hair loss no matter how bad it is makes you look older whether its a Norwood 1.5 or a Norwood 6.
