i suffered from a scalp itch during the time i was taking dutasteride and the itch went away when i stopped taking it, but for some reason the topicals i am using are continuing to irritate my scalp in a similar way while they didn't really do that before. i even tried Aloe vera gel to calm my scalp but that just made it worse
I mean i have recently switched took Kirkland minoxidil so perhaps the alcohol or PG is responsible, but i have used minoxidil in the past and i don't remember being irritated by it like this
And the itch is still in areas that i am losing hair.
