Hi guys, I'm 19 years old and I'm about a NW3. I've got frontal thinning and also on the vertex and receded temples still with fuzzy patches on them. In all my Balding areas I still have very fine hairs on them. For about 6 months now I have been taking Propecia 1mg daily and using minoxidil daily. I have seen the slight thickening of the frontal hairs but not a big cosmetic difference yet. The same in the crown but its still obvious their balding and I know the temples are the hardest to regrow!? Should I keep using them until I've completed a year? Also do you think I can get some more decent regrowth? Sorry I know its hard without pictures! I eat a good diet and keep fit and stuff like that! How long before you can see some decent cosmetic results? Thanks for your help! Marcos

Yes, keep at it mate. I have been on finasteride for five years now, and with every cycle of hair, the thinner front ones seem thicker.

you should give it one full year at least. Make sure that you take pictures every month to compare later on. Also you might want to try Minoxidil. cheers

Yeah, just keep at it, and remember Propecia is mostly for maintenance, no regrowth. Some people get regrowth on finasteride, but it's moderate at best. Minoxidil is what you need for regrowth, that's why they call it the big three. Keep at it, maintenance is a victory in and of itself, but regrowth is what minoxidil is for.
