Difging into this subject. Is it possible that use of a synthetic thyroid med can up regular AR receptors even after treatment has stopped? I was placed on a small dose of Levothryroxine and within 7 months I began to experience diffuse thinning. I stopped the meds and the loss continues only much of the regrowth is miniaturized.
Even with a predisposition could there be a role here? I was not told that a side effect was Hairloss. Most rule it out as Telogen Effluvium and believe it returns with normal levels but...
