Those Who Are On Finasteride, At What Time Point You Started To See Improvement Or Decrease In Shed?

I am 10 months in , same as you took .5 mg daily . Took me about two months for the shedding to go down . It increased to me shedding a lot of small hairs 8 months in . Atm I am literally loosing 30-50 hairs a day where as I was loosing 150-200 before. Hair feels and looks healthier also.

I’m losing about the same amount as you did daily, are you a diffuse thinner curly? I hope I can stop all that hair fall as well once I’ll be on fina in the upcoming days

With finasteride
I dont see any change .my hairline start receded process from 30-31 seems its evolving to higher mautre hairline .

Acctualy i was fine while stoping
At age 27 i had bald spot in the front right size after traumatic event and stress while not giving enough sleep to my body.
After 3 month i lost portion of my hair in one side only.
3 years passed without any balding
Than my hairline started thinning at age 30 .and i start losing hair and receded on all the hairline .

You’ll most likely not see a difference in your hair which is a positive. If you’re lucky your hair will look a bit better. If you’re extremely unlucky (and it’s rare according to studies) your hair will look worse after a year.

Hopefully your content with where your hairs at now cause it’ll probably stay that way for a while, and that’s a good thing.

I'm in my initial shed phase too... I didn't have much hair left on the top to shed, but the sides and back are shedding horribly!

Maintaining which I’m happy with given how aggressive my hair loss is, although I feel my crown has thickened up some what

0.50 mg. lol.

I am not loosing my hair in a diffuse pattern . It was mainly around my hairline and the top, since I have been on finasteride it feels like it has halted any further loss significantly. The last two months I added rogaine aswel which I use mainly on my hairline and I have been getting slight regrowth there also.
