Thanks for the support, one says it is better to never have had it at all than to have had it and lost it. I felt very fortunate being able to pick up women in my younger days of full hair.

The worst part is probably when you see old friends and people that used to envy your looks and they laugh and make jokes about your new hairline. I know hairloss is not the end of the world but sometimes it sure as hell feels like it.

Yea redbone I really understand you. I was always a good looking kid growing up and never had problems really with girls and then I start losing my hair. Luckly I regrow pretty much all my hair and it looks fine now and I am not really in the same situation I was in 4 months ago.

But hair loss is just hair loss. Almost all guys will lose their hair. I saw a picture of my sisters senoir prom pics where all the couples group up and 5-10 guys where noticeably losing their hair. I looked at the same picture like 3 years ago before I had hair problems and didn't even notice.

I was watching MTV TRUE LIFE I AM A DWARF. And this midget who was like 25 and 3 feet tall was a NW7 completely bald. I was just like sh*t I thought my situation was bad. Everyone has problems in their life. Some peoples problems are way worse than others. Just be greatful you are only losing your hair and you are not paralized or something. Look at me, I am losing my hair at 17 and you are like 35. You had a full head of hair up 2 30 you said. You where one of the lucky ones. Losing hair is a part of life for most guys.

Scottie I know its true. Before I started losing my hair I wasent really insecure about anything. I NEVER made fun of anyone for being fat or balding or whatever because I could care less. Guys that make fun of other people for a flaw are just insecure about themselves so they do it to make themselves feel better.

Perhaps the people you say are your friends really aren't. True friends will accept you regardless what you look like. And they are your friends till the end.

I never gave a sh*t about bald or thinning guys even before I was thinning. These stupid pricks who trash us need to get a life, would be nice if the shoe were on the other foot sometimes. Its like making fun of someone for the color of there skin or race. f*****g maggots. Someone please post a story about a guy who made fun of baldies then went bald himself, to sooth my pain.

Sting, I havent seen some of my friends in several months albeit years and the first thing they do when they see me is look up at my hairline, most aren't ignorant enough to comment but I still feel them looking just the same, its like a curse.

Young, my heart goes out to those midgets and dwarfs god bless them. That is true balls that they have coping with their affliction and trying to live an everyday normal life. I can tell you one thing those guys sure know how to party.

tommorrow i will have my first haircut after breaking up with my g\f..she is a hairdresser and used to cut my hair and made it easy for me to conceal..i'm afraid a new hairstylist is going to butcher me tommorrow. i'll keep you guys updated. my hair is thin in the front and a little in the back..but i have enough hair to conceal it. hopefully i still will tommorrow too

I agree with you. If you said this 2 someone not losing their hair they wouldn't understand. But it's like discrimination when someone makes fun of your hair. It's sad. When that guy on the real world got dissed for his hairline I almost felt like I was getting made fun of 2.

But what I learned is people that trash baldies or anybody for their flaws are just insecure, ignorant, assholes and they are not the type of people I want to be associated with.

One thing I learned in life is that some of the coolest people are the people that are not good looking at all. So if you judge some1 on how they look i feel sorry for you cause you are missing out. I learned a ton of life lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Balding actually helped me out soo much on how I view people and how I see myself.

it's true, none of the people I hang out with would make fun or comment on my balding. There is this one guy at work that made a joke out of it, and I swear I could of killed the f****r there and then, becasue it was a put down not a joke, it's hard not to react to a situation like this.
