so basically, no one else has experienced anything close to this. Therefore, I will make the assumption it is unrelated to finasteride.
For what it's worth, I have a friend who around age twenty started losing his eye sight. He eventually dropped out of school, he's now 24 or 25 and legally blind, I believe. He has a thick head of hair, so--assuming finasteride isn't keeping it--it's not due to hairloss drugs. Young adulthood is when a lot of crappy genetic time-bombs start going off, as everyone here who's pre-age 30 can attest. In short, go see a doctor, immediately. And whoever told you hair was more important than eye sight--Gilgamesh, I believe (where's Enkidu when you need him?)--obviously hasn't lost his.

Oh, and change your f*****g avatar, it's repulsive and mean-spirited. If you're losing your hair at age 20 you don't need more bad karma, dude.

I would go to an optician first of all to get your eyes tested. If they are much worse in a short space of time then I would get them checked out ASAP.

I would be very suprised to here that it was a finasteride related issue. And Yeah, your avatar makes me want to puke all over the place.....

You need to sort your mind out before your hair - otherwise you will end up losing both.
