Nope. U don't lose strands permanently, they grow back thinner every hair cycle. I suggest u educate urself on male pattern baldness. There are cases of agressive male pattern baldness where u lose it in a few years, but in 2 weeks a visible change? Nope.
Ibwan't talking about losing them permanently, not the follicle. The strand! And is the missing strand(s) that give the overall appearance when have hair longer than 1cm. I can assire you I know what I ak talking about.

Most of the people refer to the overall cosmetic appearance when they freak out about hair loss. If you care about the technicality of still having hairs go miniaturized if that effects their overall appearance.

Since you are taking care of your hair but still failing to have a healthy hair, the only option left is to go to a highly experienced doctor who has a good knowledge about baldness and hair loss.

Even after all this, my DHT is 269 pg/ml but it was 640 pg/ml 10 months back (reference for males=250-990). I must mention I had quit estro and spironolactone for 2 months before starting again 3 weeks back due to the follicular massacre experienced recently.

@Manochoice @ScaredOfBalding , could you help me in interpreting the blood test result and whether it is likely to be the cause of the hair loss? Also, this is serum DHT. If yes, what should be the step to completely suppress it? dutasteride doesn't work for me. Is there a stronger drug?
