Thinning hairline

I was just wondering if rogaine (minoxidil) may actually accelerate thinning of healthy hairs.

when I started applying rogaine foam, I still had a thick hairline, and the foam felt really heavy on my hairline. However, a year later, most of my hairline thinned "considerably" and was replaced with really thin hairs. Would anyone say that this is a natural progression of hairloss, or was this caused by rogaine? please give me some advice on the matter. I'm considering quitting rogaine on the hairline.

I've been on Quick dry minoxidil and propecia for 6 years (mostly on the crown)

So if its a shed, then there is a possibility for regrowth in the next few months?

I need to figure this stuff out now... since I don't want to lose these hairs forever (like with my temples)

I read some post here and as far as I know it is just a process. Eventually your hair will grow again. If you are not convince in my statement just browse some thread here.

I actually have been browsing these forums for years already. I do understand that shedding is part of the regrowth process, but I am going through really rapid thinning after starting applying a significant amount of minoxidil to the hairline.

I am worried, because iim concerned that minoxidil is actually detrimental to my hairline. So I have a few options. 1) Continue with minoxidil and hope for regrowth (while watching my hair rapidly thin) 2) limit/quit minoxidil on the hairline and potentially notice a complete shed

so are my predictions correct?

any imputs??
