Thinking Of Switching To Duta From finasteride?

I come from a family with very aggressive hairloss and my hair has Already thinned a good bit . I've been on finasteride for about 9months and minoxidil for about a year or more. Now I believe my hair is getting slightly worse ( although it is quite hard to tell)

Anyways my question is did I give finasteride enough time or should I keep waiting to see what happens? Obviously I would be estatic about regrowth , but realistically I just want to maintain. Given my aggressive genetics at a young age I am not sure if finasteride will be enough to maintain long term.

Do you think I should make the switch to duta based on my situation?

Also - how much worse are duta sides?

Maybe give it a full year. Have you gotten sides from finasteride?

Stay on finasteride every day and add a dutasteride once a week to see if there are sides. If nothing, add twice a week and so on, phasing out the finasteride. If sides (brain fog), stick to once or twice a week while taking finasteride.

PS. There are A LOT of different ways to do this. This seemed to work for me though. Some will say to do a loading phase with dutasteride, but if you're getting sides off one pill, that isn't possible. Unless you don't mind them of course.
