i'm thinking of switching to revivogen as a means of maintaining what i have b/c i'm too worried about what propecia is doing to my body. everyone talks about how premature aging and wrinkling of the skin is caused by finasteride, and i kind of think that's true cause it's happening to me and a few others on here who are also 23 and younger. does anyone on here use revivogen and had long term success with it? it doesn't seem as though it would be as effective as propecia but maybe i'm wrong. HairLossTalk.com, how has revivogen worked for you, and is it really possible that finasteride causes premature aging? how do you apply revivogen?

this panic will simply mean you have less hair in your twenties.

Premature aging is no joke. I don't think any drug could easily make you age prematurely. Speed up how fast you get older? What's next, a drug that makes you stay younger???

Drugs can affect different parts of your body negatively or positively, but claiming that any one drug just speeds up or slows down how fast you get old would be some f*****g discovery.

whatthehell,
it is easy to say before you get married. though my wife doesn't give a damn about my hair, try imagining pictures/videos wherein you will like her bigbrother or father. until my kids go to college i will care about my hair.

but these same kids will have some bio effect in them because of the drugs youll be taking to keep your own hair, no doubt about it

finasteride Worry?
True, women should not even touch tablets containing finasteride.
There were fears that semen could pass on finasteride at conception etc. but I read recently that this warning was recently withdrawn by the manufacturers. Sorry the info is scant at present, but it reassured me at the time. Best check it out more thoroughly though. Keep up the great debate.

This "finasteride makes you age faster" bullshit is a joke. It is the same logic that dictates e.g. that smoking weed makes you bald.
NO!
Growing old makes you look old, dammit! Paranoid b****s in denial im' sick of this sh*t.

Just take the stuff and deal with the concequences if you come accross them... worrying about these ridiculous suggestions of Premature aging and whatever else people "make up" is not doing anyone any favours... especially yourself.

Bloody hell i think im more worried than ever after being on this site with all the speculation... before, i used to take the Proscar and that was it... wake up, go to work, toss, eat, sleep, smoke, drink... christ... im fine. You will be too.

Either take it and keep your hair... or get paranoid, don't use it and go bald...
