Thinking of starting Finasteride.

Hi guys, i've been lurking on the forums for a while and thought i would join up and ask for some advice.

I'm 25 yrs old with slow recession in the temples, i would say that i am a norwood 2 right now and i would really like to maintain what i have as i am noticing more hairs along the hairline growing shorter and finer, my father is a norwood 3 at age 50 and my hair is the same as his when he was my age so i know i have his genes, so balding in my family isn't really that bad.

So would it be advisable to start taking Finasteride? I was looking at getting proscar to save some cash.

you should really post some pics.

if you are only a NW2 and think you'll only progress to a NW3 by 50 I wouldn't start meds.

Wouldn't hurt to just start using Nizoral shampoo. Pics are a good idea though, some nw2's are worse than others i guess.
