Thinking Of Pulling The Plug On Alternatives. Topical finasteride/min

Im starting to feel like I’m wasting my time trying alternatives. Constantly waiting for 6-12 months and nothing really happening. I was thinking about buying the Topical finasteride/ minoxidil from minoxidil max. 6% min and I think 0.25% finasteride. I just don’t want sides since I took large doses of saw palmetto when i first noticed hair loss and was impotent for about a year post treatment. Like many of you said a lot of people do not get sides from finasteride so I can just hope I’m one of them.
I’ve also never tried min or finasteride is it okay if I start both at the same time?
Btw this is my hair loss state currently, would be curious to see what Norwood level some of you think I’m at? I believe I’m around a NW2 but curious to say what some of you think.

Thanks! I’m 22, I started noticing thinning of my left temple when I was 16. So maybe trying alternative treatments slowed it down? Lol

It could yes, what alternative treatments are we talking about? If you try finasteride try topical first and see how it goes

Well I’ve tried Castor oil, S5 cream, lactoferrin, sandalore and now currently on zix haha and yeah if I get sides on topical finasteride I’m done with it.

You're old enough now for finasteride, so I'd go for it.

Do you think that because I’m 22 and not younger I will be less likely to have sides since I’m done with puberty?

I recommend you go and see a derm to get it confirmed that you even have male pattern baldness in the first place, because it looks to me like you don't have any hair loss based upon your photos.

Anyway, if it turns out that you do actually have male pattern baldness, you'll need to use finasteride. Natural stuff doesn't work, and among the things we have that do work, nothing comes close to finasteride's efficacy.
