I have recently had an appointment at Harley Street in London. They can give good hair transplant, and the staff there are really helpful and not pushy.

I very much doubt it, what clinic was that for who's the surgeon?

Damn people tagging me in photos on Facebook, now everyone knows I am bald!
Haha, I know exactly what you mean, I hate facebook for exactly that reason. The thing is, my hair is at a stage now where I can style it so it looks ok in photos, but I barely use it anymore now, so noone can see!
You have a pretty decent hairline, its just you've got general diffuse thinning throughout, I agree with the others, give these treatments at least a year, if not much more before you see what they can do for you. I have seen some amazing results for diffuse thinners with them on these forums. I have been using the big 3 for 18-19 months now and just continue to see steady progress, my main aim now is to restore my temples, some times I think its not getting any better but I think I do see improvements, it just takes a loooong time. I will probably give it 3 years since I first started and if I think its not going anywhere, then I will take the plunge and get a hair transplant if Im not happy with my hair at that point to restore my temples.

I think you have a great shape for the cut, and I am a diffuse thinner too and I'd probably look very similar buzzed. You could definitely do a burr cut (1/8 or less) all around really well imo. Like it shorter than the one pic that's a little longer. I know this is a later post, but I'd try some other things before a hair transplant. Anyways. My hair is very similar to yours I thank you for posting I now can get an idea how I'd look buzzed more or less so why I bring this back up. Thanks!

also, just out of curiousity, what Norwood do you guys think I am? I know I am headed for a 6 in the future, but where am I now.

Here's Dr. Bernstein's explanation of DPA and DUPA thinners:

I don't know for sure but maybe you're the second or third in the diffuse thinner pictures (i.e., a total of four picture classifications are provided by Dr. Bernstein).

Yes, there are alot of variations aren't there CCS. Those scales of pattern loss are just generalizations to give a basic overview IMHO.

Did you notice the DUPA type of hairloss? MY GOD!! :(

(DUPA picture is at the bottom, third picture from the left.)

I think you're hair looks pretty good. Continue with the Big 3. You're still young for a hair transplant in any case.

Remember if you do strip you won't be able to do that short-trim anymore. I did one hair transplant of 2500 grafts a year ago and honestly think I look worse now than before when I kept my hair buzzed. I knew I'd need probably two large sessions to get good look, but when you lose that ability to buzz the hair because you have a pink line around the back of your head, it doesn't make you feel too good.

i work not far from brussels... halle to be precise....

do you also speak dutch ? sinds you live in belgium ?

i think the best transplantationinstitute in belgium is laser aesthetic and prohair
but if i go for a second transplantation i would go to prohair, they charge less for extra grafts then other institutes...
and have good results

link : http://www.prohairclinic.com/

some of there results : http://www.prohairclinic.com/products.a ... tgroupid=2

there price is not so expensive for mega sessions (fue)
link : http://www.prohairclinic.com/productpag ... ctID=40817

for the first 1000 grafts they charge 3,95 euro , and after the first 1000 grafts the price of extra graft is 1,50 euro...
8000 euro for 4000 grafts done.... it seems a good price for so many grafts
i waith till september to see if my large regime give the regrow i want, or i will go there , but i had also a megasession in mind, dont know if this is possible sinds i had allready a transplantation last year (2725 grafts fut in istanbul turkije)
there they lowerd my hairline almost 2cm's , it give nice coverage , but i want more density for modern hairstyle...

If I were you, I would continue with the Big 3 and forget about the transplant. You don't need it and your hair looks fine.

hi wesley, thanks for the info. i know halle, actually drive through there on my way to work. i do not speak any dutch though, as i am a US citizen just living in brussels. i speak some french.

i think i will continue with the big 3 and see where that takes me. i really just wanted to strengthen the front of my hairline. it might look ok in those pics, but i reality it is very weak.
