Hi

So I had long hair last month which I took pics every week or so cos I kinda got obsessed with my hair, I've always been I'd say Norwood 1.5 since December/late November I've been slowly going back and losing massive amount of hairs all with tiny white bulbs.

I did have major illness and started to recover around the time I noticed my hair and have been stressed for last few months.

I shaved and wondering should I start one of the big 3?

Few posts said I prob have telogen efflivum and it does sound like it could be that cos going from 1.5 to 2.5 in less then 2 months I dont know how normal that is.

Im slowly seeing tiny hairs coming back on my temples where I lost the hair. Vellus ones but few so far have gone terminal.

Any advice

big 3 is only effective for male pattern baldness really so make sure you are certain it's male pattern baldness first. finasteride is by far the most important of the big 3 so that would be the one to take

Hi, Ok so if it's not male pattern baldness it would do anything at all?

Its basically in a tiny area in the temple region.

only minoxidil would help loss that is due to Telogen Effluvium, but if it is Telogen Effluvium it would grow back on it's own with time anyway. If the loss is in the temple region/top of head only it is male pattern baldness

Loss is on temples and some areas of sides and back

If you have tiny miniaturized hairs somewhere like temples where you previously had hair, than its basically male pattern baldness. Everyone wants to think its Telogen Effluvium or some vitamin deficiency. If your a man than its just overwhelmingly probably male pattern baldness. The other things are so uncommon and unlikely I wouldnt even bother considering them unless you have some convincing reason
