well - lets be honest here, I go by looks first, the rest later. I know that sounds pretty bad, but it is honest and how 99% of life works, kid yourself if you will. Why doesnt this thing let me hit enter?? So you know I go by looks, but if you can't carry a conversation I do not really care if you are unbelievably hot, it just isnt gonna work. About me, well 2003 was a bad bad year for me (maybe explains this write-up). I started to loose my hair, gained some weight, but other than that I am feeling pretty damn good about myself. I want to hit enter dang-it! So now you are saying 'How can you expect a pretty girl being fat and bald', well I never said I was either - that was implied. Yeah I gained 10 pounds and started Rogaine, but oh well. I may be a hypocrit when it comes to appearance, but really what are the chances I am going to meet the girl of my dreams through this medium. We both spend too much time behind the keyboard, and I probably like geeking out more than I should. Anyway, if you want to email with a brutally honest guy, drop me a note..Whatever.

You better be attractive, keep up a good conversation and be able to make my friends think you are super cool, or else I will probably leave you at the theatre..nah, i wouldnt ever ditch a date, cut it short yes..ditch never. Honesty..that is my motto..

I love it. But I suggest you include a picture of yourself in it. Once the "Rogaine" and "gained a few pounds" cards get put out on the table, I think a lot of women will instantly visualize Jason Alexander.

But what the hell! Go with it and see what the net brings up. Hope online dating works for you like it does for me! I've met some fantastic people whom I would normally never ever had a chance to come in contact with!

you have had some good experience??...I have only met the ugliest mo-fo's out there. when I do the quick match, all I get are uglies, with no teeth...I live in damn chicago, there has to be more than that...that is why I got pissed off and did the point blank post. I may put a picture up...I had one before, and all I got was troll bait

Yeah, I get a lot of that too. I'd say 99% troll bait. But every so often I get a real gem.

You also have to play a little offence with them... you have to search out the ones you like, lots of them, and take time in crafting a message for each one that shows that you read their posting and compliment them on the specific items they mention that you really like.

I wrote one girl 4 times before she replied! No, not 4 times in a week, but once a month for about 4 months. You just never know what is going on with the ladies... some times they are probably busy and just delete your emails with the spam, and then the next time they may have someone else in mind.. and then the next time that someone else dogged them, and they are suddenly wanting to get themselves back into the dating fray... and voila that is right when message number 3 hits their inbox!

The women of Chicago are a little less attractive than other areas of the country. A perfect 10 in chicago would probably be a 7 or 8 where i live. So i know there is slim pickins in the windy city.
