Do you think being a short guy (under 6 feet) is worse than being bald?

If you had to choose to be shorter but with more hair or less hair and taller...which one would you choose?

What do you think is more important to women?

I think hair is more important, since you can see shorter beautiful guys that are popular with women not the other way around (tall, ugly bald guys that are popular with women).

how tall are you?

I'm 6 feet 2 inches tall.

that's an excellent height.... the average is about 5.10, which means that half the people are even shorter than that.

But this thread is not about me. I'm satisfied with my own height, but I just know short height is one of those things which can seriously f*ck guys over, so I wondered which is worth -balding or short height. I think it depends on facial features.

two things:

1) shorts guys will always be short. That's a life sentence. There is simply no way around it.
2) baldness will be an option within the next 5-10 years. A cure is near.

seriously, stop whining. Us young people who've just started balding will be fine. The future will be hairy.
Go visit other "disease" forums to really get a perspective of what it's like to suffer from a REAL disease

I'm 6'1 and personally, I would take losing my hair over losing my height.

I think its easier for girls to look past hair than to look past height. Girl's like to feel small and feminine..they don't like to be bigger than a guy in any way (height or weight).

So, I think hairloss is easier to overcome if you really try by developing your physique and personality.

That being said..shortness can probably still be overcome ..but i think its harder..and you have to find a girl whos more open minded. I mean you have guys like Vern Troyer (mini me from Austin Powers) who f*** hot chicks..but then again he's famous and probably has a decent amount of money.

4 real?

at least having a short stature doesn't make you ugly. so unless you're very below average it shouldn't be a huge problem.

imo balding versus facial disfigurment would be a more fair comparision.

There, took 2 mins to find the first one on new treatments section:

viewtopic.php?f=32&t=19652

And another 2 mins on experimental treatments section:

viewtopic.php?f=23&t=13728

Both sections have 100's of threads like this dating back from the start of this forum.

yeah none of it looks that exciting.... things that are happening right now are much more likely to succeed because knowledge is compoundable and they know more about hair and Vin Diesel than they did decade ago.

I dont think some miracle cure is just going to be discovered. finasteride and minoxidil are over 20 yrs old, hair transplant's have been around since before I was born and theres no more improvement in terms of results to be had. The limitation of donor is the last remaining obstacle and only hair cloneing will overcome that.

no... but I'm sure Replicel and Histogen WILL pan out. They're not absolute cures, but they are pretty effective treatments...

S.a.f has been around longer and has seen these companies fail to deliver time and time again. Watch Replicel closely, they're doing the same thing every other company has done and will inevitably fall through.

They told us they would release their findings this month and now they are saying they have no definitive time in which they release the data. :jackit:

Big 3, transplant, hairpiece, or dealing with baldness. That's the best you'll get and you might as well learn to live with that.

From Replicel:

"There is no final date when this process will be completed. As soon as it is completed RepliCel will issue a news release."

Go ahead and get your hopes up but don't get sore when you get no results. Look at the facts, we're getting the run-around and their stocks are plummeting. This has happened numerous times with numerous companies.

....and hair loss is the least of your worries....you seem to need anger management and a healthy dose of social skills.

oh wow.... way to take it out of context.

At this time, the data is still being analysed. There is no final date when this process will be completed. As soon as it is completed RepliCel will issue a news release.

they're still analyzing the data.... they said late april and today is only the 13th. They still have about two weeks and they'll probably have it done by deadline they specified... EVERYTHING IS STILL ON SCHEDULE. you just have to be patient

it's so easy being negative about these things:

Replicel fails --> haha I was right!
Replicel succeeds ---> screw this forum and my reputation, I'm getting me some hair!

being negative means that you win in both cases :jackit: :jackit: :jackit:

Negativity and being realistic are two separate things. I would love to be wrong in this case, I really do hope I eat my words.
