Thin frontal hairs

I had an earlier post about my massive hairline shed a few months ago. Well, a few months ago I had strong terminal hairs in the hairline, and they shed and were replaced with thin (probably vellus) hairs after months of minoxidil use. This is very discomforting, because I know they will soon disappear.

I am currently taking duelgen 15% minoxidil on my hairline (for the past 4 months)

You have have any suggestions for better regrowth?

Possibly minoxidil losing effectiveness(it does after a short while). Are you on finasteride? If not my recommendation is to see a doctor and start a finasteride prescription asap for full effectiveness of minoxidil.

Well, I have been on finasteride for a few years.. Well my hairline was completely strong until a few months ago when I switched minoxidil solutions...

What dosage? I have heard people upping it to 1.25mg/day when effectiveness wanes. Could also be a shed.

It cant be a shed since its been going on for some 11 months now.. I've been spotty, between 1mg/day and for the last 4 months .5mg/day.

the odd thing is that I could swear that the hair on of crown is not got worse in the past 11 months... its only the hairline that's the issue... its really bad, and only 11 months ago it was the fullest...

it could be the 15% minoxidil? (Dualgen 15% with 5% azedaic acid)?

I am a longtime lurker here who can vouch for 15% minoxidil. It just pisses me off to see someone on agenda who is making up a story by posting self-contradictory posts on this forum.

what are you trying to sell tonyparkerrun? I think you are the one with an agenda... I'm been watching this forum since 2005 and have been using products since then.. so I know what I am taking about. and not once did I contradict myself or make up any stories....

Thanks for your help nonetheless agahi.. I'm going to try to consistently use 1mg of finasteride and maybe cut off the 15% minoxidil.
