Hey guys...is thickness something that generally goes with age as well?

None of the mature hairline threads really discuss this...Theres a possibility I may or may not end up with a mature hairline...cant really tell at this point because its a guessing game...ive definately lost some thickness because I cant style my hair the way i used to...but its nothing that anyone here would call diffuse thinning

My father told me his recession stopped near his senior year in college and thats where I am right now...but when i look at him, his remaining hair strands seem to be so thick...hes an NW2.5...yah hes an NW2.5 but both of my grandfathers are gone and my uncle is incredibly diffuse

so ultimately the question is...will hair that will stop receding at a certain point lose some thickness as well? or does thickness generally remain the same where mature hairlines are concerned

Thickness goes with age - that´s certified information.

But there will always be those who doesn´t fit into stats.

Most mens hair tends to thin a little all over as you get older.

But a lot of bald guys first lose it on top, then the sides slowly thin while
the top of the remaining "U" of hair continues to recede down and
the bottom of the "U" of hair recedes up.

That's how guys end up with a thin inch wide ring of hair around their head.
