thickening up front with finasteride?

Just wondering.. I have bad miniaturizing (don´t know if that´s how you spell it) all over but especially up front. I don´t have any expectations at all to regrow temples as they´ve always been a ways back, but I´m wondering if anybody´s had any luck thickening up miniaturized hairs in the front using finasteride? anything else good for this?

everyones genetic makeup is different, fina can grow and thicken hair on the temples and hairline of some but might do nothing for others.
