Hi all,
I researched a decent amount about a year ago (@30 years old) and decided to get on finasteride, minoxidil and nizoral. I had been thinning some for maybe 6 months or a year before that. I use rogaine foam twice a day and ~1mg of finasteride per day. I also use nizoral about 3 times a week. With all of this, it seems that I have pretty much stalled the loss, which is great for now.
I did seem to lose enough around the crown to be noticeable -- at least to me. I keep my hair pretty short -- cut with a 2 guard every week or two. Whenever it starts growing out some and right before I cut it, I noticed that I do definitely still have a good amount of hairs in the thinning area, they just seem to not grow as thick and long as the rest of my hair. I can pinch some between my fingernails and tell that they're there, just not as long as when I pinch another area on my head. I think if I could get these to thicken or lengthen at all, I'd be more pleased for the time being until my next progression in regimen. I think it'd really help fill in this area if the hairs that are there would just grow more.
So what I'm wondering is if anyone has any recommendations on what I should/could possibly do to help these current hairs grow and thicken. Or, if there IS anything I can do to get these to do that. I've looked around some and it looks like maybe adding copper peptides may be one option? What other options should I consider?
Thanks everyone for the help!
