Of course the liver cleans the body. I suppose if it stops doing it, you would get very very sick
But what are "detox" diets? What are the toxins that are not getting cleansed by the body in the first place?
I researched your Candida stuff, and most agree it's taken out of context by the charlatans you have fallen.
You haven't even gone to a doctor because you know they will tell you everything is fine
Please don't just make assumptions like that about me.
I have not gone to a doctor because I'm moving to Malta in 2 days lol
Additionally, I want a test that I KNOW will give me accurate results, and that I can afford. If that came along, I would jump at it like a shot
I want the TRUTH about my body, I don't want to deceive myself, but until an alternative comes along Candida seems by far the most likely suspect.
In order to change my mind, I'll need a better suspect for why my digestion, skin and hair all went down the pan at once, and why my digestion is still screwed up. So far, I haven't found one.
Toxins are just harmful substances to the human body. For example, good bacteria in the gut release positive substances when they break down food, such as vitamins. Bad bacteria and stuff like Candida release harmful substances, which we refer to colloquially as toxins. The liver is the body's primary detoxifier, and it puts the toxins in bile so they're removed when you use the loo. Unfortunately, if the liver is overworked, it can't possibly cleanse away all the toxins fast enough, and I have seen studies that show that an overworked liver (logically) leads to hormonal imbalance, as the liver is also the main remover of hormones from the blood stream.
So, I believe science is also right, as a toxic environment would have the same effect on the liver as Candida, in essence.
