The side you sleep on.

Seen a few threads recently about one side of the hair line thinning more rapidly than the other.

Most likely no connection but for myself the side I sleep on is the stronger side. I also have better facial hair development that side.

I assume more blood goes to the side being slept on, or at least it feels that way.

The side I sleep on is the thinnest so opposite from you. I don't think there is a connection.

This has been bugging me for years now..But no, I dont this it has anything to do on what side you sleep on. I remember in puberty, i started to get my body hair on left side sooner. Even now, i'm hairier on left side of my body: lower inner forearm, left side of the neck, even left sholder has some hair, while more thining on left side.

I wonder whats the mechanism behind this asymmetry of the body hemispheres that controls that. Does it have something to do with Left-right brain hemisphere?? Lymph nodes in the body?? we could go sci-fi on the subject. It can be anything..Could be the fact I'm right-handed ;)

I've read this story about a guy whose left side of the face looked older then his right side. He was a truck driver and apperently the left side prematurely aged because his left side of the face was always exposed to sunlight. Weird.
