The PPG in Folligen is bugging me

Hi,

I've been sticking to my regimen like a madman.. and my Folligen use over the past few 2 or so weeks has been causing my scalp to feel itchy and/or irritated. I attribute this to the PPG in it.

I dunno if this is a bad thing or not. I have been applying a bit more Folligen than needed, and it is only dilluted a little bit with water. I use a dropper to apply it most of the time.

I also tried minoxidil (rogaine) about a year ago... one bottle of 2% & one bottle of 5%.. I finished both bottles and it was ridiculous how crappy the itching became for me.. and the white flakes.. I also attribute this to the PPG and Dr. Lee confirmed it for me. Of course my scalp health back then was not nearly as good as it has become recently (thanks to the shampoos).

So I dropped minoxidil real fast. I know all about Dr. Lee's formulas so I will in the future perhaps look into those. finasteride is going well for now.. I'm maintaining and thickening along nicely w/ Nizoral too. I like Propecia and I expect some further results within this next year.

I think Tricomin doesn't bother me AT ALL and feels GREAT, where as Folligen is strong and causing me itching and irritation!

I usually apply to damp hair after a shampooing, and then follow up with some water spray misted onto my scalp to sooth the tingling that Folligen creates after 'drying'.

Anyway, if you're a copper peptide Folligen/Tricomin master, please let me know if it is okay to continue to apply the Folligen even though I'm ultra sensitive to PPG. Will I 'get used to it'?

Thanks,
-mike

It is impossible for us to tell you whether you will get used to it or not - only time will tell.

You could just switch to Tricomin and not worry about irrtation.

True nobody can tell that... just thought I'd ask if it's "Normal" for negative PPG reaction effects to go away after a time period.

I want to continue to use Folligen because after it 'dries' and I apply more water to sooth my scalp, it feels fine for the rest of the time on my scalp. The irritation kinda 'goes away'.

Folligen irritated me too. Now I use Tricomin and don't have any problems, I think they are both effective but scalp health is important so I don't use anything that can irritate me.

Folligen irritated me when I started it, but it is fine now. I also had the same problem with Minoxidil, so I don't use it.

Going on alittle over 3 weeks on Folligen and ive gotten good results as far as overall scalp health where i apply it.At first yeah it burned alittle but that went away after a week and now i have no irritation, itch or dryness whatsoever in the thinning areas.Im hoping it will maybe stimulate some growth (wishful thinking)..
