The new version of this Forum - Coming soon

Hi guys -

PHPBB (this forum software) has done a complete rewrite of the system, and made the forums significantly more flexible and powerful. However along with that there will be some visual changes, which will require a short period of getting used to.

Its a new interface template, but with significantly more features. I wanted to introduce it to you now, so you can at least see how things will look in the coming weeks. We've got an entirely new website coming as well, which im going to appreciate your patience with as we "roll out" and fix things. Since you guys are what this community is all about, you should be the first to see whats on the way.

Give me a few mins and ill post some links!

Just a temporary location but you can go there, register, log in, and poke around ...


By the way - the color scheme will be modified to not be so "baby bluish" so .. just check out things like features and whatnot. Try posting a few times, quoting eachother, attaching photos, etc .... just to see what it can do. Get used to it ... we'll leave it up for random pointless conversations for awhile .... so when we go live it wont be such a shock

And you can make suggestions there too. All are welcomed.

Everyone will like the old one better (including me) until we finish tweeking (tweaking?) the new one visually ... and for features.... Trust me you guys will like the new one better once its ready.

I like it!

In fact, the colour scheme looks fine to me too, nice and easy on the eyes. If you're going to change it, I'd request that you take care not to make it garish.

Hey cassin...I have a phpbb forum and want to update it, but its not working via my host provider's vdeck login. I get spam attacked and have closed the forums, but somehow, new spammers are still able to register (although they and anyone else cannot post).

Can I get some help some time? I will pay you a little if it all works out in the end.
