Spex,

I think you attained a very realistic density in the recipient area. And sure, my recipient area looks thin when my hair is wet too. I really avoid having my hair wet in public. I just want to achieve the illusion of coverage, that's it.

Your donor zone looks great, the regrowth through your scar looks great too. Have you tried going down to a number three? You probably can wear it that short.

Hi Gillenator,

Indeed - hair always looks thinner when wet - When my hair is longer my hair characteristics help play a big role in giving my hair the illusion of density. Hair characteristics play a big role as you know!

Thanks bud - the growth into the scar is tremendous - it has really diluted down the problem areas

I could take it down to a 3# but then other sections of the old Bosley strip scar come into play unfortunately and i don't want to throw anymore precious grafts into the scar at this time. You never know whats round the corner and to be honest a 4# is more than i could have wished for! I'm happy!!

You look great, it' s like you never had any hair problem.

Thanks Starscream!

I have recieved various surgeries from various surgeons - My journey has been a long one. My last procedure was with Dr Feller who resloved my previous unsatisfactory work. All the info is on my website -

I now act as a showcase in the U.K to make guys aware of the pit falls assosiated with the hair transplant industry and allow guys to see what a hair transplant looks like in person.

Spex,

You hair looks great. I followed ur case on HLH and it still looks amazing at different lengths/cuts. I dont think it looks "thin" when its wet like Gillenator described, I think it looks naturally wet. Everyone's hair looks thin when its cut that short and wet.

BTW, it looks like it really blocks out the sunlight! Feller did a great job. The big question is how much has this changed your life? Do you feel that you can do anything now?

My work with Feller has totally changed my life as before it i lived under a hat.

I used to scrutinise over my hair 24/7 and due to poor previous work found it difficult to lead a normal life.

I don't even think about my hair now and am very thankful to Dr Feller for giving me my life back!

It looks good, and nothing personal but Dr. Feller will be very pleased with all this free marketing you are doing.

Or did he give you a free surgery?

I paid for my 900+ into my hairline and then after the results were apparent offered myself as a showcase in the u.k to show guys what can be achieved. I do not get paid by DR Feller for this.

Dr Feller then kindly gave me free FUE work into my scar - I have disclosed this many many times.

Here is an idenpendent directory where people have commented about meeting with me:

Hey Spex, amazing results!

Do you have any pictures of what your hair looked like originally before any transplants?

Also can you elaborate on what you mentioned as "ideal hair characteristics?" Is it because you're blonde you recieved such a great result?

Hair characteristics

Hair characteristics play a vital role in the overall illusion and success of a hair transplant. Some patients have more favourable hair characteristics and therefore need less grafts to gain their personal goal. Someone with fine, straight, thin hair is going to require more grafts to achieve a similar result than for example someone with coarse, wavy, thick hair.

Remember Hair transplantation is the "art of illusion". With the appropriate placement and use of your hairs characteristic the illusion can be achieved very well - the more favourable your hair characteristic is ie; wavy, thick hair means the illusion can occur with fewer grafts if positioned correctly.

Our hairs characteristics all vary but be aware of your own when embarking into hair transplant's and how it can aid or not aid the illusion. In brief - Patients with very similar loss patterns may not have the same hair characteristic. Therefore they will require a different amount of grafts to achieve a similar result in terms of illusion, coverage, density.

Hair transplants are all about the art of illusion ;-)

Hey Spex checked out your website, pretty amazing result considering what you had before. I noticed your balding pattern is somewhat unusual and/or odd looking compared to the norm. Im refering to the picture below. It almost looks like someone took a bite out of your forelock area just before the end of the hairline. Did you suffer much shockloss as a result of hairs being transplanted amounst other hairs in this region?

Im actually quite interested in your story because your hair colour and texture actually very closely resemble my own. A dirty blonde colour with finer hair strands. Are you looking to get anymore transplants or are you done? Closing off those a temples just a tad more would be brilliant :)

Your physiology will dictate that but generally now with a good Tricho closure scar many buzz down to a 3 and even a 2#. Top clinics perfom the same technique on every patient BUT its YOUR skin that determines how the scar ends up.

See Pete's strip scar who had Tricho with Doctor Feller -

Metalheaddude -

The pic there is after 2 Bosley Sessions so the pattern is a little "un normal". I was a diffuse thinner in the front and possibly experienced some shock but TBH it was all on its way out anyway! I would love a little more and plan to touch it up in June - Maybe a little in to the hairline and a litle into the old Bosley scar :nono:

Touch up to beef it up  Depends if Feller will let me :dunno:
