What is really f*****g disgusting is having people like you who think they are depressed for some f*****g hairs while there are other people who struggle daily with way more serious health issues and yet they manage to cope with their situation and move on to their lives. Those are the real heroes.

And you are the kind that cries and is bitching about it in forums and problably in real life too. I'm a woman and I lost my hair at age 20, I have other more 'serious' health problems as you call it too, but nothing has made my life more hell than hair loss. It's nice to appreciate things most people take for granted, and I know very well how important health, a roof over your head and good friends and family is. What I don't understand though is when people try to belittle other people's suffering when they know nothing about that person's life or what goes on inside their head. Baldness, especially at a young age, is an incredibly hard thing to deal with... Imagine being almost or fully bald when all your peers have nice heads of hair, and suddenly girls/guys won't give you the time of day, people mock or reject you, treat you differently, you miss opportunities or become a recluse because of your low self-esteem etc. We live in a time and day where it is imprinted on our minds daily the importance of looks, so when you lose it at a young age it's devastating. For many people, including me and Fred, this can lead to some serious depression. We don't need people telling us our depression is not real, or that our problems are not valid. Sure, there are people who are blind, in a wheel chair, dying from some disease etc, but it is in fact incredibly hard to be suffering from depression as well. Only someone who has been in our shoes will understand, I get this, but try to have some empathy.

Anyway, are you visibly balding to other people? Have someone ever commented on your lack of hair, or treated you differently because of it?

If you are being sincere then I would brush up on some effective writing skills before doing your thesis.
I'm an avid reader of plays, scripts and novels and that sentence would not translate the way you are suggesting.

The fact that some people are corrupt or were just outright cons to begin with, doesn't justify the insane response and viewpoint of Mr. Crazy up there, though; not that you were saying it does.

I remember seeing ads for Bosley's when I was a little kid and even then, it looked like a scam to me.

I don't know WTF you guys are arguing about so I'll just respond to the original post.

We're very fortunate that there will likely be great advances in hair loss treatment in the coming years. Perhaps not a cure, but there will finally be substantial improvement from finasteride+min+hair transplant. I think Brotzu and Histogen are our best bets.

In the meantime, I hope I can maintain.
