The Dermaroller Thread.. Is That Word Illegal To Use Here?

Well since I don't have a gf to buy me a gift this year I was thinking about buying myself a dermaroller and was hoping to hear some positive feedback on it. Specifically from people who added it into their regimen on finasteride, did you notice improvement or any change at all after adding this to your regimen?

I don't believe the admin is allowing the advertisement of dermarolling as a solution, because of the potential adverse side effects - tissue necrosis.


When you penetrate, and leave micro tears in the skin, you're opening yourself up to potential infection. All though you are free to do what you want.

penetrating the skin is the entire point. if you're dermarolling until the skin is only light pink, I personally don't think there is risk of infection. Sterilize your dermaroller in alcohol before. The point is not to cause fibrosis, the point is to create an injury response so that the body can initiate healing and bring more growth factors to the area.

I've been using deramroling once a week with minoxidil daily for about 4-5 months now. I'm honestly not sure if the both of them are doing anything for me. I may drop both after I use up all of my minoxidil and just stay on Finasteride
