Do you guys agree with Nestle/other companies which promoted bottle/formula feeding for infants? how many of you were breast fed?
They made it sound as if breast feeding is naive/unhealthy/out of fashion.
Now people have proved that if the babies are breast fed, the chances of breast cancer for the mother decreases exponentially.
Do you know the shame with these companies? They promoted the same concept in third world countries where even the water is not pure which added more complications.
I can't believe that in US, with all the educated people around, FDA etc, bottle feeding became more popular. (I am for choices, if you prefer to bottle feed that is a different story). But to advertise that formula is healtheir is a scam. I grew up in India, almost everyone thought the formula/bottle feeding is healthier. Thank God, my parents were poor and couldn't afford to bottle feed anyway. If all the babies were breast fed at least partially, we wouldn't be having so many breast cancer issues today.
