A number of people complain about how it sucks the way bald men are stereotyped in movies and on television et cetera.
I've been doing some thinking (because i've got nothing else to do) and i've come to the conclusion that getting angry over the mostly-negatively stereotyped baldies in movies is a waste of time.
Most films, tv shows and the like are made up of caricatures. There are stereotypes in mostly every medium of entertainment you can find. This ranges from the stereotypical fat girl who likes to eat KFC, to the funny black token, to superficial things like dumb blondes.
The best way to deal with stereotype anxiety is to do what everybody else does when they see themselves in some way in some form stereotyped: go out there in the world and prove it wrong.
I know hair loss sucks major ***. I know how isolating it feels. But I also know that the whole world isn't out to get us, so that goes without saying that this begins my "positive thinking" thread.
