Well, you can all see what my regimen is below.

It's been 3 years of finasteride and minoxidil, with Cu peptides being a more recent addition.

Can't say i've had any regrowth but am happy to say that i've maintained almost all of what i started with.

Unfortunately i seem to have lost my baseline pics but here are the 1.5yr and 3 yr pictures:

1.5 years

3 years

Let's hope things don't drop off just yet. I've been thinking of adding something like the lasercomb or Revivogen in for some time now but have not yet decided...

Good luck all

Hey Def, I think you've definitely regrown some.

Have you considered upping your minoxidil to 2X per day? Might give you the growth reboost you're looking for.

If youve maintained for 3 years on your regeime then this thread should be moved to the success forum.

Thanks for the replies.

Yeah, Britannia you’re probably right. HairLossTalk.com – can this be moved to the success forum please?

C&M, I have considered using minoxidil in the morning too, I just have to get off my @rse and buy some of Dr Lee’s quick drying Minoxidil. I probably will up the ante reasonably soon. In particular, while I am like clock-work with my finasteride ingestion, I’m very hit and miss with my evening minoxidil applications. Half the time my girlfriend stays over (or I stay at hers) and it’s difficult to apply the stuff discreetly or I have a big night on the drink and pass out before I can apply!!

About 3 months ago I dropped Nizoral from my regimen as I’ve been using the Morrocco Method organic shampoos and Mr Morrocco recommended against the use of any chemical shampoos. It all sounded a bit hippy-off-with-the-fairies to me but I thought I’d give it a shot. In 3 months I haven’t seen any results – but I do like the Morrocco products. So now, I will once again add Nizoral back into the mix.

Cheers

I remember receiving a comment from a girl I worked with about 2 years before I actually realised I had a hair loss problem.

It was just after I had a haircut, quite short and spiky and this girl said to me:

“Hey – I think you’re getting a bald spot like my brother!â€

to which I said:

“You must be crazy!â€

Another girl at work backed me up on this and said:

“It’s just because he hasn’t had a chance to style it yet!â€

So I thought nothing of the comment, particularly because my hairline was and still is perfect. Then again, although I may have had a little regrowth, I’m pretty sure I’ve just maintained.

Good luck!

Def, congrats man!

I think keeping your hair is a success. I would be happy if I can keep what I have in 3 years.

How was your situation the day you started on your regimen, 1.5 years before the first pic?

Cheers.

My hair, the day I started my regimen was pretty much as it is now.

The only reason I realised was that while on holiday on a tropical island with my girly at the time, she said to me while in the pool: “babe, I think you should start using Rogaine or somethingâ€￾. I freaked and then began checking the top of my head daily.

It was only at the point where I was standing over the bathroom sink, seeing how many hairs I could brush out from my head that I thought – alright, I gotta do something about this!

Well I was linked here by the OP in another post he posted yesterday, otherwise I would have no reason to comment on a post this old. Ridiculous.

But it was relevant to his new current post thats all.
