I was previously on Minoxodil, but felt it affected my libido, so changed to Recrea Forte. It seems to work really well for me, and I've been able to stop the loss over the last five years, although there is little regrowth.
Now in my mid-forties, and still not enterily happy with my sex drive, I've tried a so-called testosterone booster. It's markedly increased my libido, which suggests the testosterone levels in my blood have increased. Now, however, I worry that the hair loss is accelerating due to these capsules.
This was a lot of background info, but my question is this: How quickly could visible hair loss occur after increased testosterone levels? In other words, how fast does DHT work on the follicles?
I've only been using the testo booster two months, and wonder whether that's too short a time for noticeable hair loss to occur, given the fairly long cycle of each hair's life cycle in the follicle. Thus, I could just be imagining things.
