Testing generic Minoxidil

Has anyone heard of a study where somebody tested various generic minoxidil brands to see if they actually contain the correct amount of drug? I got paranoid recently that maybe they are just selling us water and glycol.

Either the Kirkland minoxidil I buy has all the appropriate chemicals in it or water and glycol are the new wonder drug for hairloss.
