Terrible Itch From 2% Ket. Alternatives?

Hey there,

I get a terrible itch from 2% der shampoo. Furthermore it makes my scalp red and my hair looking very dry.

Since I need a regimen, what would be the Alternative? I get sides from minoxidil and finasteride (topical and oral)

Okay thx for your feedback. Atm I use Piroctone Olamine Shampoo and it it stops the ket itch

I got zink pyritione also from Schwarzkopf. I only get a strong itch after ket. On the other shampoos it's almost non existent

I heard tea tree oil is good for that. Find an anti fungal carrier oil and go to town

Apply Emu oil into the scalp when you go to bed. I found when using Emu oil nightly, it forms a long lasting depot in the follicles even after a hair wash, and 'buffers' the scalp skin so well I can use all these shampoos daily without itch like I used to get.

...and Emu oil may well be far more effective than minoxidil anyway...AND its a powerful local anti-androgen.
