I have been on Propecia 1mg for about 9 months and a week. I use Nizoral about twice a week. I also use T/Gel and Pantene Pro V usually every other day. I have no sides other than water semen and the occasional massive load of semen about twice a month. I don't really have any complaints about propecia. I just want to know if you guys think I have made progress over the past couple of months. I will answer further questions if you have any. I have been losing hair for about five years.

From what I can tell it looks like you've made progress all over. Looks like the corners of your temples have closed up quite a bit and your crown looks fullier. Does look overall much thicker, looks like you caught it just in time. Good Luck.

For some reason the front and left pics at two months won't load. Those are important to see. But judging from what happened to your right temple, you've recovered quite a bit of hair. It does look generally thicker, too.

I would move this to the success stories, it looks like you went from a norwood 1.5 to a 1 great job.

Hey thanks for posting your pics, people don't understand the hope that it brings when someone shows great results like your self. I wish more people like your self would post because it is mostly the horror stories you hear about. I am curious though what your age is and if you went through any shedding? Thanks

Nice one mate. Looks like youve halted your loss and had some thickening up around the temples. And thats with no minoxidil. Youve got the results I would be happy with in 9 months time.

Sorry it took so long for me to reply. I am 23. I don't think I have gone through much shedding since I have been on propecia. I haven't noticed any difference in shedding since before I started finasteride. I usually don't pay attention to it so I won't think about it and let finasteride do it's thing.

I took 10 months pics. I believe the actual date that I started taking Propecia is around February 9th - 15th, 2005. Well here are some new pics. I used the brightest flash on some of the pictures. I was taking pictures with the three different flash settings and some were too bright and some were too dark. So I mixed and matched.

Yeah, I'm sure. I have seen two different dermatologists in two different states (I moved recently) about my hair. They both say I have male pattern baldness. My grandfather on my mother's side had a receding hairline. My older brother also has male pattern baldness. My father has a full head of hair and he is 61. Thanks for the compliment.

great job with your hair, I am noticing alot of better hair growing in, Im having trouble getting prescriptions, considering I dont know how much it costs for a dermatologist appointment here.

so I guess I'll just start with rogain

Hi everyone. It has been a long time since I have posted on this forum. I want to give an update on my situation. I used to post on this forum starting in 2005. This was around when I first realized that I have male pattern baldness (male pattern baldness). A sad time indeed T.T After the initial shock, realization, and introspection period a lot has changed. When I first learned of my male pattern baldness, I immediately started using Propecia. After 10 or so months of use, I stopped. Then I did nothing to combat my male pattern baldness for a long time. About a year ago, I started consuming raw flax seeds. I have also been using head and shoulders shampoo + conditioner for many years. I also started using nettle root extract and saw palmetto supplements. I think my male pattern baldness is fairly slow progressing, so I do not think about it much. I try not to think about it and just accept it, although sometimes it is hard. I have taken some pics of my hair during January of 2010. I have previous pics up here from 2005 from the first ten months when I was using Propecia. Some of the pics have been expired from being view too many times (I think this is due to Imageshack's viewing policy). I am using Imageshack and I think that is how it works. I just uploaded my new pics from Jan. 2010 today. They are shown below. I have used the same camera as the previous pics as well as trying to use the same angles. I have posted my worst pics (most revealing) of the bunch that I have taken.
