Template Hairline, Use Existing Hairline?

When you make the template, does anyone know if you're supposed to use your existing hairline as a marker? Everything I read says about doing the three or four finger from the eye brow thing, but never says what you're supposed to do if you still have hair and a hairline? If anyone could be so kind as to answer, as I'm going to my stylist later on to do the template. Thanks

If you want the SAME hairline for your system, that go for it... otherwise... go lower.

My hairline is 3 fingers too and when I attach it that way it seems unnatural for my age. I'm in my late 30s but I look like late 20s with the system. I would suggest cutting with 3 fingers and if that doesn't look natural you can cut the excess lace in the back.
By testing both scenarios when you got your HP you'll know when it's too much.
