My feeling is that finasteride solidly covered up any thinning on my crown... i never had a massive problem with the crown... its all in my temples/receeding but i do recall looking at the back of my head around 3 years ago before i started Proscar and thaught "oooh sh*t, thats not good" and now its as thick as it could possible be. Full coverage. So have some confidence... remember, mine has improved over that 3 years, so ride it out and plan to be on proscar for years mate.

Also chuck these pics up in the "Compare your hair" thread i made... hopefully plenty of people will contribute to that one.

Keep it up dude...

Yeah I am willing to be on finasteride for a long time! (until there may something better out there)... but as of right now, I am comfortable where I am at now, I believe I am a responder and my hopes is for me to only improve in the later months/years.

I take it your answering an invisible question there. Your crown certainly looks thin compared to your otherwise thick hair. Stay on finasteride, otherwise go put on 100lbs of muscle so you can pull of the buff bald look. :D

being buff isn't so bad! but I still rather have all my hair with it!

IMO you are pretty lucky to be a vertex receeder. Microfibers can completely sort that sh*t out. But yeah- definite improvement; congratulations!

thanks! so its not only just me who sees an improvement.. but wait, it has only been just over 5 months... do you think it will be completely covered in 10 months or a year? since it appears that I am a responder.

I think you will be ok in the year mark. I am a crown thinner too. dammit.

Better crown that frontal. At least finasteride works much better on the crown than the front!

You have a different haircut so it's hard to tell, but it looks pretty much the same to me. Give it a year.
