Tea Tree and Emu Shampoos

Ive noticed for a while that a lot of people on this board have either tea tree shampoo or emu oil in their regime. What exactly do either of them do for hair loss? I couldnt really find a solid answer on either one.
And if I were to add one of these to my regime, which would you recommend?

well I ended up buying a bottle of tree tea shampoo anyways. I just dropped nizoral, so i need to replace it with something. Time to see what all the fuss is about.
