Tapering onto finasteride to reduce sides

Hi,Newbie here, been on minoxidil and Nizoral for 2 months (regrowth on my crown so far) and started finasteride today. The instructions that came with it from ukfinasteride.info said to take 1mg in week 1, week 2 take 1mg a few days apart, week 3 take 3 a couple of days apart... Upto week 7 when you are on 1mg every day. Says its to reduce possible sides by letting your body get used to the drug.Any views on this? Should I take it slow or just jump straight into 1mg per day?

It definitely wont hurt you if you do it that way. Thats what I did when i started finasteride 9 years ago. Thats what im doing know with Avodart

You do want the full dose, but it won't hurt you to slowly taper into it in order to give it time for your body to get used to it in order to reduce sides
