Anyone can share tricks to easily bound tapes on a brand new hair system aside from washing the hair system several times?

You should be able to bond straight away.

Sometimes hair systems come with your template taped loosely to the hair system to probably protect it during transit.

Just remove the residue/tape with lace release.
And clean it up with cotton wool balls and C22 Solvent.

Please specify type of base and type of tape
French lace and using Walker Ultra tape mini strips. It usually bound well but I have to wash it many times before an optimal bound.

should I avoid hair conditioning on first washes? And would C-22 or 99% alcool would help even if the system is new?

Yes, no additives or products on lace. And yes, alcohol swab on lace, let evaporate a few seconds, then apply tape on lace, pressing firmly, let stand a few seconds, then remove backing

a knot sealer always works for me. It kind of adds a different base to the lace that the tape likes

No one's really discussed knot sealers while I've been on this board.

So they create a film over the lace? Sounds perfect for glue.

I just got a lace unit after getting annoyed of the lack of ventilation w UTS, but I'm terrified to glue it down as I don't think wtf to expect...

They have been discussed to death... some people swear by them, my experience has been they do nothing. Some say they help the adhesive stick, I have seen just the opposite.
