Tanning my face with a hair system fitted

So I'm getting my first system fitted soon. I'm naturally quite pale so use 'LOreal Men's Tinted Gel' which gives my face (and currently shaved head) a fairly natural look.

I'm not a fan of sunbeds but if I was to use one could I simply wrap a towel around my system to protect it?

That aside I'm guessing I'll have to be careful applying tinted gel so it doesn't get onto the poly part of the system?

Any advice? Thank you guys.

Is this a gel that comes off right away in the shower? You're probably better off with the moisturising self tanner that takes a few hours and can't be wiped off or runs down your face when your sweating. Any event yes you would have to be careful so that it doesn't blend into your Polly Base.

I use self tanners all the time, usually the type that come w a "color guide" - aka they immediately add color to your face, like makeup. That color washes off, is just cosmetic. I don't have issues w my hair systems and the use of these products..
