Hi I have a couple of questions.
As the title says I am 19 this is my current hairline(Just the right side).
4 and a half months ago: https://i.gyazo.com/be9b89862c2f4e7470e1b33d65ed38b7.png
As of today: https://i.gyazo.com/d90013b976d5cfb5c9ef9d7c1de916de.png

I've heard starting finesteride young can really help fight hairloss but I also hear if you have hairloss when you are young it means it will often be aggressive hairloss. So my questions are do you think I have aggressive hairloss, if so how much will finesteride help, how long should I see if finesteride works, and should I add dutasteride if finesteride doesn't work?

Thank you.

Too early to tell. Could be mature hair line. What do other men in your family's hair look like?

you look like my hair, except you might not have as much minitruization

i am 23

I don't know what to say. people told me before to wait an entire year on finasteride before looking for any benefits. It's hard to do that when I rub my head and tons of hair fall out which are miniaturized

So I guess I should say to you, keep going for one year and if it seems to not do anything, maybe try dutasteride if it is still receding bad

My father and mother's family's all have full heads of hair as far as they know. My father's relatives do have a full head of hair but its receded farther back. Personally I don't think I have his hairline as he said he had that hairline when he was young(my age) and I'm nowhere near that currently and really don't want to get near that.

I guess a recession until Norwood 1-2 is kind of normal even on finasteride.
You don't want too look like a chimpanzee anyways, with a super low hairline.

Looks better before imo, this could be one of many reason:

1. Because you're pushing your hair back with your hand in the now pic.

2. You're shedding since you've only been on it 4 months.

3. The pictures really aren't a good judgement for you. E.g. in my (unpopular) opinion pictures really aren't a good way of monitoring your hair, even if you get the lighting/angle/haircut/hair part exactly the same as before, half of the time it just doesn't do it justice. I've taken pictures in the same lighting/angle and such just a matter of hours apart and one picture will look like my hair has receded way further than the other, this has happened many times, I now do videos to monitor my hair instead.
