Taking 0.5mg Propecia ED (Advice Needed)

ok guys so ive been splitting propecia pills into 2 every day for the past 3 weeks now and havent noticed any differnce in hair but its erley days..

i was wondering will 0.5mg be effective in halting and regrowing hair? or shall i start taking the full 1mg tablet? i was worried about sides but since taking 0.5mg i have had absolutley zero side effects but i figured if i take the 0.5mg i will 1. lower the sides, 2. be able to increase if effects wear off and 3. its cheaper! but im desprate to regrow hair so not sure what to do!

Also will these tablets lose effectiveness by cutting? i read somewhere that pills can loose effectiveness when split due to mixing with oxygen but i consume the split tablets within 24 hours after splitting.

I started off with 0.5mg EOD. I am now on month five. I, too, didn't notice any sides at 0.5mg, but as months gone by I switched to 0.5mg every day, to 1mg every day. The slow transition allowed my body to slowly adjust to the changes. I currently have no sides on 1mg daily, even though when I had attempted propecia in the past, starting at 1mg gave me side effects. It's important to give your body time to adjust slowly to hormonal changes, and to stay consistent. There's nothing worse than missing a few days and experiencing side effects from a hormonal imbalance. I can't say if 0.5 EOD will be effective, but if you increase your dosage slowly over time, you should be able to minimize or prevent side effects.

The tablets do not lose effectiveness by cutting, but you should only cut as many pills as you will need for the week. Don't go cutting all of your pills on the first day.
