I'm wondering if someone could give a brief low down on what these substances do for your hair and how best/often they should be combined with a nizoral routine. I wash my hair with nizoral every other day.

In particular which is beneficial for a greasy scalp?

Is there a shampoo/conditioner/cream that combines all three?

T/Sal is discussed in depth on many posts- you should do a search.

It is basically an exfoliant, enhancing the action of Nizoral and topicals. As I mentioned in another post of yours, I use T/Sal on my nizoral days, prior to nizoral.

Aloe Vera is antiinflammatory and natural SOD. There is a description of sodases in the FAQ section of this site.

Emu oil has excellent penetrating properties, said to be antiinflammatory too and conditions a scalp having received extreme topical punishment.

I believe yes. Too many agents can grow hair on some people. The game is finding those who will work good for most.

Aloe has antiinflammatory and wound healing properties and that could definately help.

If nothing else works, you might be down to your last straw, namely, Rod Stewart's semen. It's an anti-inflammatory, and the most potent growth stimulant known to man.

That explains Tina Turner.

Have you tried Permethrin cream? A doctor Anderson posted some information regarding a rosacea treatment, and it kills demodex, I think.

I started using shampoo and conditioner that both contain aloe vera. My new routine is to shampoo and conditioner my hair every day, adding nizoral. every other day (4 times a week). This seems to have reduced my itch even further.

The shampoo and conditioner are both Schwarzkopf Supersoft and both contain aloe vera. Is shampoo/conditioner the best way to apply aloe vera or is there a cream form that's superior?

Furthermore, even after all this washing my scalp is still oily - is this good or bad?

Also heat, from a wooly hat in particular or even from a shower that's too hot, continues to trigger the itch. Does anyone else have experience of this and is there a remedy apart from not wearing hats?
