switching to propecia

Hi,

i am thinking about switching from propecia to proscar, but I was wondering how people are splitting the tablets up into 5 pieces? also, isn't there a possibility that one piece might have more than 1mg while another has less? (i.e. the finasteride is not distributed evenly among the tablet)

one other thing, looking online, it seems that proscar was intended for treating enlarged prostates...is this right?

Unless you have a special pill cutter I would try to cut them into 4. Yes, some portions may be bigger than others but that's what happens. Just don't keep taking the larger portions. Mix it up a bit so that when you complete the course your body will be none the wiser.
