ok, the logical side of me says that there shouldn't be any difference between rogaine and kirkland. but that slightly neurotic side has its misgiving.

so, basically, my question is has anyone ever noticed a difference in results from rogaine 5% and kirkland 5%? logically, i know it shouldn't matter as the active ingredient is the same. i guess i just want some assurance

You're using Rogaine foam currently? Or Rogaine liquid?

well. its a little complicated. i started off with foam and got good results. but then 6 months later i was going through a big shed. i switched to liquid, not so much because of the shed, but because i thought i was having some allergic reaction to the scent of the foam. the shed stopped, and whether or not its because i switched to liquid...that's debatable.

so, long answer short, i'm using liquid right now.

Kirkland is the same as Rogaine and made in the same factory. It's basically the same product with a different label on the bottle. Don't worry about it.

Hi.

Just bought Kirkland 5% Minoxidil.
Haven't used it yet.
I read the mini book, on Page 2;

'It is not intended for frontal baldness or a receding hairline.'
Only work on Vertex.

Crap!
I have frontal baldness.

I guess finastride only for me?
What say you guys?

it will more than likely also work on the front if it works on your crown. Im not sure why they all say that, maybe because they only tested it there or something. but dont worry about it.

something about it being FDA tested on the vertex only, so they cant claim it helps with frontal baldness, but apparently it does

I read that somewhere, maybe this same forum
