Switching from Minoxidil to Tricomin...

Have any of you successfully transitioned from minoxidil to a product such as tricomin?

I cannot take the irritation/inflammation that minoxidil causes any longer. I feel minoxidil also affects my eyes, causing redness/soreness. It has also caused dark circles to formulate under my eyes.

If I were to drop minoxidil entirely would the addition of an SOD such as Tricomin keep things somewhat stable.

I'm also on dutasteride and spironolactone topical nightly.

What form of minoxidil are you using? Liquid or Foam? Why would you think Tricomin would do what rogaine does? It's mainly for a healthy scalp not for regrowth, maybe using Tricomin to relieve the irritation from rogaine sounds like a better idea. Maybe use Minoxidil once a day? Don't trick yourself into thinking Tricomin is going to do what rogaine does, but it's a safe product and will give you a healthy scalp so why not try adding Tricomin and at least using minoxidil once a day.

I wish you the best,
Rich

I quit minoxidil and started with tricomin about 2-2.5 mths ago. Same problems as DirkNowitzki.

I am on finpecia and nizoral already and want to give this combo afew months before I reevaluate.

Dunno for some reason I was in a constant shed for a year while on minoxidil 5%.

If finasteride and tricomin help me get some hair back then I wud not want to go back on minoxidil.

If at all I restart minoxidil I will do it by focussing more on temples/hairline as I have lost some ground there.
