I've been using Dr Reddy's finasteride (on this website) for a month and half and have been noticing real improvements and some regrowth on my temples for a month and half now. Recently 2 days ago i switched to Merck Propecia from the pharmacy. I've noticed now I'm losing ground after I switched. Hair is coming out in clumps and I have no idea what is going on. They both have a 1mg of Finasteride but why am i losing more hair?

Should I continue to take the real propecia or stick with the dr reddy finasteride?

You are most likely going through a shed. Plus if its a bad shed you mind is probably just making it appear worse. Keep in mind its reported that people taking finasteride should see a shed around week 11.

If you have only been on Propecia for two days its not long enough for your body to indicate such an erratic shed.

Furthermore if you were taking Dr Reddys finasteride two days ago and it was real finasteride then switched it would still be in your system 24-48 hours after your last dosage Even long in some cases depending on how long you took it for and of course your liver.

Personally take the real Propecia if you got it in the US from your local pharmacy you know its the real deal.
